Absolutely Pheasants was established in 1993 by Stowe Samco, a fourth generation son of Knutson Ranchers. Since 1901, the Knutsons have operated their cattle ranches along the White River, midway between Winner, SD and I-90.

Wildlife management and land stewardship are top priorities in our hunting and ranching operations. The large number of wild game we host didn't just happen. We strive to ensure great habitat with shelterbelts, nesting cover, varmint control, and an ample supply of food plots. With 10 miles of riverfront shores dressed with 100-year-old cottonwoods, stock damns, flowing wells, watering tank pipelines, creeks and lakebeds, we are home to most species of the Great Northern Plains.
